Dr. Joe B. McGinnis is the founding pastor of Rockhaven Church.
Along with his wife, Brenda, they began the church with a handful
of people in a home in Colleyville, TX in 1985. Dr. McGinnis
pastored, and ministered in the Baptist denomination from 1970 to 1985, when he experienced a powerful encounter with God, during which, he received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, enlightening his whole doctrinal, and theological understanding. His ministry strongly emphasizes a present encounter with a living God within you, the Word of Faith, and salvation through Christ by grace. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Dallas Baptist University; Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Doctor of Divinity degree from Dallas Baptist University.

Brenda McGinnnis and her husband are the founding pastors of the non-denominational Rockhaven Church in Roanoke, TX. In addition to being a licensed, ordained minister, she is a certified Therapon faith-based counselor, Bible teacher, Church Administrator, Children's Minister, author of children's curriculum, seminar speaker and organizer, and a past member of her church's praise and worship team. Pastor Brenda has been happily married to Dr. Joe B. McGinnis, with whom she has co-labored in the ministry for 35 years. She has two children, and a granddaughter.

Christian David Soto is our Minister of Praise and Worship. He is a worshipper, guitarist, and song-writer, and has been used of the Lord in leading praise and worship for the past 20 years in various Christian venues. Having been born in San Jose, Costa Rica, and raised in Los Angeles, CA, many of the worship songs he has written, and recorded have become beloved anthems in many Spanish-speaking churches in the U.S.A. , and Latin America. Jesus is his passion, and his desire is to advance the Kingdom of God by leading individuals into the presence of God through music. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Music, and is currently working towards a post-grad. degree through The University of Phoenix. He is, also, a graduate of the Musician’s Institute of Los Angeles in Music Performance/Music. Christian and his wife, Claudia have been married for 14 years, and have two young children, Chrystal and C. J. They reside in Roanoke, TX
